Toyota Teams Up to Launch Safe Driving Video Challenge

Toyota and Discovery Education recently announced the 2018 TeenDrive365 Video Challenge, which invites teens to submit an original Public Service Announcement aimed at students in grades 9-12. The videos, which should be between 30 and 60 seconds long, should focus on the need for teen drivers to engage in safe driving habits.

The Grand Prize includes $15,000 in cash and the chance to work with a Discover film crew in reshooting the entry video to make it a TV-ready PSA. Second Place receives $10,000, and Third Place takes home $7,500. Fourth through Tenth Places will each receive $2,500, and there will be four Regional Prizes of $1,000. Lastly, a People's Choice Prize -- selected through an online vote -- will net $5,000 and a trip to attend the taping of a show that airs on Discovery Communications' Velocity Network.

A panel of judges will convene to select the winners. Since the competition first began, thousands of videos have been submitted and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been distributed in student grants and prizes.

At Dublin Toyota, we're proud to serve drivers from the Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon, Castro Valley, Danville and Clayton areas.
